This auction is for a set of 4 Colclough China demitasse size cups.
The bottom says Colclough China, made in London England, Genuine Bone China.
I am not certain of the age. Besides the markings you can see in the photos, some have a marking off to the side in blue and/or a number or marking in gold. I have photos of all the bottoms of each cup.
Each cup and saucer has a flower design and the rim of the cup and saucer is a pastel color, pale pink, pale yellow, pale green and pale blue. The cups and saucers are trimmed in gold. Each has a gold rim inside as well. I have a few extra saucers and I think one extra cup which I will be glad to include to the winner.
Pale Blue Cup - bottom edge seems rough (seems to be on all so may be the nature of the cup in processing), in gold two gold hash marks and 6987.
Pale Blue Saucer - Gold hash marks or could be a 31 on saucer.
Pale Green Cup - bottom edge rough, floral transfer extends past bottom gold rim. Gold hashes and in blue maybe 37. In gold 7867.
Pale Green Saucer - bottom has 6 and hash marks.
Pale Yellow Cup - 29 in gold on side.
Pale Yellow Saucer - no other markings
Pale Pink cup - can't read first number, under a purple mark, rest is 032 in gold
Pale Pink Saucer - no other markings
I have tried to tell you everything about this item. Regardless of the small flaws, if you collect cups, this is a very beautiful set.
