Leather and Wood Purse Designed by Dick Idol
This is for a hand painted, leather and wood ladies purse designed by Dick Idol.
Dick Idol is one of America's best-known authentic outdoors man and wildlife artists. Idol has created more than 30 bronze editions, published lithograph prints and completed two of the largest bronze mammal monuments in the world. As a renowned hunter, lecturer, author, and artist, no one knows the outdoors like Dick Idol.
A beautiful bird painted with a branch and leaves and acorns.
The base and rim is made of wood, as best I can tell. The rest of the purse is leather and the upper looks to be wood. The strap is a man-made material and not leather.
I chose these for my store because of the hand painted bird.
The purse measures approximately 9 6/8 long at the base and 1 3/4 wide. The top measures 7 1/4 long by 3 1/8, the opening is 2 1/2. From top to bottom it is 8 6/8 and approximately 7 inches long at the top. The strap is 10 inches measuring from the top of the purse to as far as the strap extends.
Please understand that the wood and leather construction means that there are some markings on the wood and leather which are natural to the product.
This item is new and the tag still attached.
Just beautiful for fall and collectors of Dick Idol designs.
I am not an expert in these areas. I must admit that it is difficult to tell the leather parts from the wood and the purse section is very stiff.
